Physician’s Diagnostic Services Center, Inc. Davao

1978 – Physicians’ Diagnostic Services Center (PDSC) was established by Dr. Pedro S. de Guzman. The clinic was located in Intramuros, Manila and was operated by only seven medical staff. Dr. Pedro specialized in occupational medicine.

On that same year, the clinic offered pre-employment medical examination services for companies such as the Central Textile Mills and the Manila North and South Harbor. Students from the Pamantasan ng Lungson ng Maynila also underwent their physical examination in the clinic. In the latter part of that year, Dr. Pedro saw that the number of Filipinos seeking employment abroad grew, so he decided to end PDSC’s corporate contracts and focus on the pre-employment medical examination (PEME) of Overseas Contract Workers (OCWs) – PDS Website
