Competent Maritime Professional and Sea Staff (COMPASS) Training Center, Inc. was established in 2009. The company intended to organize a learning institution dedicated in the development of human resources in the maritime industry through the development and delivery of competence based training and assessment programs. COMPASS Training Centre Inc. is a wholly owned Filipino corporation operating under Philippine Laws.
As a training organization COMPASS Training Center Inc. and our courses are accredited by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) and is a recognized training partner by international maritime organizations and administrations such as the Panama Maritime Authority, Liberia Maritime Authority, FURUNO Navskills, Wartsila (formerly Transas), JRC.
COMPASS Training Center Inc. was a collective initiative of maritime professionals and practitioners who envisioned the development and delivery of a sustainable and value adding training programs to ensure that merchant vessels around the world are manned with competent and dedicated merchant marine professionals and sea staff.
Our programs and methodology in teaching sets us apart from the rest as we engage active seafarers as our lecturers and collect their fresh experience from various type of vessels into specific learning objectives and training scenarios.
